Galatians 5:22 – “But the fruit of the Spirit is … joy…” |
What does it take for you to be full of joy? Would you have joy if you lived with and were protected by the strongest person in the world, who treats you as a treasured possession and never lets you down?
Could you be filled with joy, if EVERYTHING that happens in your life worked out in the best way possible?
Would you have joy if you lived in a safe place with ever-present help in times of trouble?
Would you have joy if you had full access to one that is willing and able to solve every problem that comes your way, no matter how dark and terrible it may be?
Would you have joy if you lived with a spirit of power and had the inner strength to discipline yourself where needed?
What if you never have to be ashamed of things you’ve done in the past?
Would you be filled with joy if you knew that you were going straight to heaven when you die?
Sometimes people question my joy. It’s been said, ‘nobody is that happy’. Only people who do not know the Lord question such joy. It’s a total gift from the Lord! He promises all the above and so much more for those who love Him.
Jesus said that we show our love for Him by obeying Him. He will cover our many shortcomings and supply us with everything we need! Be obedient to the best of your ability and you will have every reason to be filled of joy. You will see His great and marvelous promises come to life through you! Every single one of them!
Jesus is everything we need for a joyful life, because He provides everything for us, even our joy!
