| 1 Timothy 1:6 – “‘But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.” |
Paul is telling Timothy not to let his ministry be marred by love of money.
The important thing is to stay focused on pursuing and pleasing God;
Then the Holy Spirit will prove faithful to work through us to guarantee that we are
pleasing to Him!
Strive to live with integrity, to be set apart from fleshly desires, to trust God with every
fiber of your being, to treat others as you wish to be treated, to be courageous every
single day in whatever is thrown at us and to not become bitter, but rather be kind to
all!
Run this race and never give up! I know that you, like me, so look forward to seeing the
face of God and hearing His words,
‘Well done my good and faithful servant’. What a glorious day that will be!!
Dear Loving and Gracious God, we thank you for this new day! We ask for your
guidance and presence to be with us as we seek to pursue you today! Amen
