It is easy to give God all the praise and thanks when things are going well. But, do we speak of how wonderful He is, or give Him thanks through difficult times? Do we forget that we can trust our heavenly Father Who is our Friend, our Strength, our Rock, our Provider, our Healer and so much more?
My stepmom had taken a turn for the worst. My dad called and said “I need you home now.” I got home a day and a half before she went to her heavenly home. Just a week before, she was giving her testimony on how good the Lord is. She was rejoicing in Him. She trusted God with all of her heart and always reminded me that ‘God’s got us’!
Lord thank you for the assurance that we can trust in You, knowing that You have us covered in every situation. Thank You for always being there! Help me to always rejoice and trust in You. Amen
