Jeremiah 33:3 – “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” |
Throughout our lives we face decisions. These include determining how to optimally use the time, talent, resources and energy allotted us each day. Decisions need to be made when facing healthcare challenges, resolving a major conflict with a loved one, experiencing financial setbacks or within a gamut of other difficult situations. Plus, we must decide what we need to be doing to fulfill the purposes and plans the LORD has for us.
Today’s text provides us the initial step to take when making a decision. We must first stop and pray, for He tells us “Call to me.” What simple yet solid advice “For from Him and through Him and for Him are all things” (Romans 11:36).
When we call to Him, He does answer. Considering He is the source of great and unsearchable things, the answer can come in ways far superior to any resolution we could have thought of. In fact, when we call to Him and trust Him completely, the response may supersede what we could have asked for or imagined.
