Today’s text is a reminder anytime is a good time for praising the LORD. Wherever we are, whether in a busy workplace or sitting alone during our quiet time, there are a myriad of reasons for pausing to praise the LORD. The reasons are endless, including He is our provider, protector, comforter, Savior, creator, and lover of our soul.
There are so many ways of expressing praise to Him. This can be through song, playing musical instruments, or reading and mediating on passages in Psalms describing His character. It may also be when pausing to enjoy the splendor of His creation when gazing upon a sunset, mountain range or sparkling stream in a local park. Additionally, it can rise out of experiencing the love He pours out on us through someone’s act of kindness.
Because scripture delineates it is precious to Him, anytime is a good time to praise Him. Also, when taking time to praise Him, we can experience a shift from focusing on our challenges to the One who is sovereign over all things within the heavens and on earth.
Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for loving and providing us infinite reasons for expressing our praises to you. Help us to remember and remind others that anytime is a good time for praising You. In the Strong Name of Jesus, Amen
