Today, our teacher mentioned about how her mom gave her a notebook of things she wanted to pass on to her as she graduated high school and left for college. One of the pages was a list of people who prayed for her. It made me think of what is it that I really want to pass on to Maddox, what is it that I want to leave behind. I am starting a notebook for him today. And one of the pages I get to include in it is a list of people who pray for him. I can’t even explain how blessed I feel that I am able to even do that. We are here because of other people’s faith. Friends who covered us in their own faith. To stand in the gap when we’re down. To lift us up and propel us into our destiny. Sometimes prayer is the only thing I can really offer to someone and sometimes it feels like I’m not doing enough. But then I look at where we are now and I can see that it is. This is one of the most impactful gifts you can give someone – your authentic & intentional prayer. Words can’t ever express how grateful I am that Maddox gets to know and feel loved by so many. And that he gets to see and know that his mom is so loved. Let me encourage you to shower others with faith and love.
