Psalms 96:3 – “Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all the peoples..” |
We don’t need to give out a bunch of money to make a meaningful impact on the world, nor do we have to travel to another country to create a change in the world. What you do in your everyday, seemingly mundane, activities IS impactful…you just might not realize it.
To make a material impact on the world around us, we need to first begin within ourselves. That seems to be the biggest hurdle though. It’s so easy to look around us and criticize, judge, and find faults in one another. Why would we do that? Why are we acting that way? If only we…What we fail to recognize, is that it could easily be us on the other side of that coin.
I heard, “the lost are looking to the found to see if it’s better.” Everywhere we go, we have the opportunity to be an influencer, an ambassador, a reconciler. Make the most of every opportunity to be the light, because we may be the last chance and only chance they have.
𝔹𝕖 𝕒 𝕗𝕣𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕕 who transmits 𝕗𝕒𝕚𝕥𝕙. Our faith is not meant to be contained within us. I have absolutely no doubt that the reason I am here today is from the borrowed faith and prayers of others when I was too weak to fight on my own. My prayers have always been faithfully answered, sometimes in ways I don’t expect, but answered none-the-less.
For months I’ve been asking the Lord in prayer, ‘what is my purpose’? My purpose is to be a role model in faith to my friends. I want to lend that faith to others. I am an influencer, an ambassador, a reconciler, a lifter and an encourager. If I could help someone else be all that they were created to be, my time here has been a successful one. Sometimes I wonder, why did God place this person in my life? Maybe it was to borrow my faith. I’m okay with that. My purpose is to be the one who takes the time to care. As long as I remain true to my faith, everything else will fall right into place.
