We sometimes face harsh realities such as job loss, family discord, or overwhelming financial challenges. Most of us would not describe these as beautiful experiences. Instead, we are more apt to describe such situations as either disappointing or discouraging. When facing difficulties, these descriptions are very understandable.
However, today’s text encourages us to lift our gaze beyond our current circumstances. Amid chaos and uncertainty, we are given a promise. This promise states that He is the One in whom we can place our hope, for in His perfect timing, He can bring restoration and healing. As we choose to seek and trust Him, we can experience His beauty and peace regardless of our circumstances.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your promise of making everything beautiful in its time. Help us to remember to keep our focus on You, no matter what we are facing. In the Strong Name of Jesus, Amen.
