Defend Yourself – Isaiah 40:31

Defend Yourself

Isaiah 40:31 – “Yet those who wait for the Lord
Will gain new strength;
They wil mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary.”

Use God’s power to defend yourself against disappointment by focusing on Him, meditating on His promises, confessing His Word, and submitting yourself and your situation to Him in prayer. Through Jesus, you can fight the enemy’s attempts to weigh you down!

When the devil makes one move toward you, keep yourself so spiritually tuned in that you can discern what he is trying to do and then tell him to get behind you! With the power Jesus made available to you, he has no choice but to run. Remember, we know how it turns out! Jesus already won the victory!

Dear God, setbacks and discouraging things will come my way, but I will not lose hope. As I stay tuned in to You, we will fight off the devil and send him running every time. The final victory is Yours.
