Proverbs 4:25-27 – “Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you. 26 Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure. 27 Do not swerve to the right or to the left; turn your foot away from evil.”

I don’t know about you but this past year i have allowed circumstances of life to take a toll on my discipline to exercise and to practice daily mindfulness. I have plans to get back on track but the events of the past year have just allowed me to lose focus. Focus is vital!!!

When our focus is aligned with our actions, it can produce great results.

Focusing :

-Increases opportunity for success

-Opens our eyes to innovation

-Helps us become more productive

-Helps us achieve our goals

As Christ followers, we are called to keep our focus and eyes on Jesus. Growth in the Christian life is marked by developing a love and affection for Christ that overwhelms all competing voices. The more we work to cultivate a longing for Christ in our hearts, the easier it is to keep our gaze fixed on what’s ahead; not swerving to the left or right, but running straight ahead.
