Micah 7:18 – “Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy. You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.” |
I often wonder what God must think about our repeated human failures. I realize my pea brain can’t even come close to think like Him but I still wonder. He knows we are not perfect and that He created us with free will but I get so frustrated with myself and my lack of discipline. I make plans and goals to be consistent and then something throws me a curve ball and boom, I blow it again.
Recently, through prayer and wise counsel I came to a realization that the important thing is that I do get back up and sincerely try again. He wants us to get back up and keep trying and ask for strength to stay in His way. That’s what matters.
A couple of tips for staying the right way:
-Think positive.
-Make success a regular prayer request
-Stay in the Word
-Quiet time every day
-Don’t give up
-Failure is normal, just get back up
-Own your results
-Ask for forgiveness and strength
-Start with a few changes
-Love life and live bold
-Remember that life is short but sweet
