I love this scripture. It conveys a hope that surpasses human understanding. Believing in the goodness of the Lord is like holding onto a lifeline when faced with overwhelming challenges. It tells us that faith can provide strength even in our weakest moments. It’s an affirmation that, despite what we see around us, we can trust that God is still at work. Our belief in His goodness should encourage us to remain steadfast, even when things seem bleak. Calamities may weigh us down, but they should never shake our faith.
Many of us have felt like we were losing hope, questioning how to move forward. Fact is, we cannot move forward on our own strength but must rely on faith in God. This means to trust absolutely and look forward with assurance. It requires an act of our will to focus on God’s nature of goodness rather than our circumstances.
