| 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 – “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.” |
Looking at this verse, the first thing we read is, Love is patient and kind. Sometimes it’s easy to do, and other times, we may have to ask the Lord for grace. But the path that I chose, is to help others.
If you think about it, these verses, pertain to all of us. We have to show love in a literal manner, by showing patience and kindness to all people. There should not be envy amongst each other, and not boasting! Let’s help each other to achieve our goal of being the best we can be. We can lift up each other and show honor to one another. When somebody makes a mistake or says something that offends you, don’t keep record of it. Be forgiving, show grace and be supportive of each other. Life is easier when we are patient and kind to one another.
Lord, thank you for giving us the grace, to show love and kindness to others. Your word is an example for us and I thank you for that. In Jesus Name, Amen
