1 Thessalonians 5:18 – “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” –

Do you ever have one of those days or weeks when everything seems to be going wrong? Lately, I have been in that cycle of more disappointments rather than hope. Today’s scripture reminds us to seek gratitude in all situations. I know that is hard to hear, but this is the will of our heavenly Father. He knows what we are dealing with, and he also has a plan to get us through these difficult times. He wants us to focus on him and not the circumstances we are facing now. Giving God honor through worship and praise are the best weapons to fight our battles. Even though it is hard to do at times, make a list of all the things you are grateful for in this moment. Write it down so that you can read it repeatedly until those doubtful moments disappear. Let today’s scripture be a constant reminder that God is in every situation, even when we don’t see it. Trust him, give thanks and watch him work it out for your good.
Prayer: Dear Lord, I thank you in this moment and trust you will be with me to the next moment. I acknowledge you Lord this day. I acknowledge all the good things in my life. Even in the bad moments, you will still work it out for my good. I give you thanks in this moment no matter what it looks like. In Jesus name, amen.
