We’ve all made decisions that we regret. At the time, we may not have realized the sorrow that such lack of judgment would bring. And that my friend, is why we have a Bible. It is a treasure of knowledge to help prevent us from making bad decisions.
Had I been following the Scripture all along, my life would be filled with one good choice after another! Jesus is our greatest ally and resource for life! My experience has been that He is always trustworthy, and dependable. He promises a life filled with joy and peace to those who follow Him.
My relationship with Jesus has been nothing short of amazing! He is faithful to make known the correct path of life, and He has been an ever-present help in times of trouble.
As I look back over the years, my life has been the most fulfilling when walking with the Lord. I have never been disappointed with that decision, nor have I ever regretted it. It has not always been easy, but it has always been failsafe.
If you have regrets that have squeezed the joy out of your life, look to Jesus! He is the only One who is capable of providing you with a joy that surpasses all understanding.
If I had to make a defense of my faith, I would begin here, with my personal experiences. These are just a few reasons why I honor Christ as holy in my heart and have a huge desire to bring every thought in subjection to Him.
