In life, evil may seem all around us! People, places, even friends and family. The familiar becomes the strange. Happiness is gone. Laughter is far. Hope is even farther. Yet it is only balanced with the lies we believe, as well as the choices we make. God, in His infinite grace, sheds each evil, each lie, each bewilderment, each hopelessness. He is The Divine Healer of us mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally, for He died for us in all these ways, and so many more!
While He is setting us slowly apart for His service, Jesus uses His sword, not to strike us, but to do the most intricate of surgery, separating us unto Him, from the powers that have controlled us, by His grace. Peeling away every layer of false beliefs we have held onto since we could think, every idle word we have spoken ever since we could speak, and every sin, since we were born by His great mercy.
