I love this verse. It is a deep truth, yet so exciting when we understand it.
The heart is something that can be taught what the brain cannot understand. It is the Holy Spirit Who helps us grasp the power of God’s Word and places it in our heart. He enlightens our mind to understand immeasurably wise truths! This brings new affection and feelings for the truth as it is placed deep within our being, and it becomes who we are!
When our eyes are opened to what the Lord has done for us, we are beyond excited because we are filled with hope! We know who we are, why we are here, what Jesus has done for us, where we are going and how to get there. We know that the answer is ‘always’, as to when we can trust in His great and wonderful promises! 😊
I want my inheritance in heaven more than anything in the world. Jesus is the hope of our calling to one day enjoy the riches of heaven, prepared by Him, for those of us who put our trust in Him.
