| Psalms 68:6- “God sets the lonely in families.” |
This morning I was reading a book on Psalms that my God mom gave me. I came across Psalms 68:6 and it stuck with me. God places the lonely in families; He sets the prisoners free and gives them Joy… it hit me.. I am living out this piece of scripture at this very moment! God has placed me directly in the paths of people who search me out to purposefully make my son, Maddox and I, feel seen, accepted, and loved. They make it a point to tell me how much they love and value me by inviting me out of my house to participate in life. This is huge, because I would just bunker down in my house and never leave if it were my choice! I think people underestimate how important, valuable, and precious this is. I’m so blessed to have found my church home. All the chats, texts, hugs that I receive carry me through the week. I hope and pray that I can do the same for those around me.
