David’s situation sounds ideal! Who wouldn’t want to achieve great outcomes in everything? The key to obtaining this type of success begins with a few actions.
Involve the LORD in every aspect of our lives! Pray for His guidance throughout the day. Include Him before starting any new task, making decisions or setting goals.
Ask for God’s wisdom when facing difficulties with work, family, or community settings. Be quick to offer thanks when He has provided guidance, helped us navigate through a challenge, or blessed us in any way.
Align our thoughts concerning success with the LORD’s plans for us. Certainly working for success in our jobs, relationships and in all our endeavors is important and even may be ways of glorifying Him.
However, even more critical is making sure we are daily living out Jesus’s commandments. He tells us to first, love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Second, we are to love our neighbors as ourselves. Remaining obedient to these two commands leads us to the pinnacle of success.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for providing us with all that is necessary for success. Help us to remember that it is through seeking You and being obedient to Your commands that we are able to enjoy the highest level of success. In the Strong Name of Jesus, Amen.
