Have you ever just sat and stared at a fire in the fire place? It’s for sure the weather to do that and it offers such warmth! It popped in my thoughts this morning how warming ourselves by the fire is like going to God in prayer.
With a fireplace, we move closer to be warm. With prayer the same is true. As we pray and focus our thoughts on how grateful we are for our blessings, we feel His love, presence, and warmth.
Stop today and feel His warmth. He’s waiting on us. Take the time to ask for and receive strength and guidance. He wants to have conversation and a relationship with us. Time in prayer brings peace that surpasses understanding.
