If you ever get that feeling in your gut to send someone a text or check up on someone, do it! I was sent a link to check out a YouTube video and wouldn’t you know it was the perfect scripture I needed to hear.
Psalms 5:12 tells us that the favor of the Lord surrounds us like a shield. It encloses us. And that shield is like barbed wire. The enemy has been persistent. I feel overwhelmed at times, but I’m reminded in this scripture that I don’t need to fight so hard all the time, maybe let the shield of barbed wire that is the favor of the Lord do its work. I was able to wake up this morning confident and hopeful that whatever comes my way today, God’s got me covered.
