My wife walked in the back door with a succulent in a decorative pot. I was sitting at the kitchen table, just having plugged my phone into the outlet. She: “How much do you think I paid for this? I got it at Calloways.” Our son works there and we get his 20% discount, but they don’t give them away, so I guessed “15 dollars?” Then she told the story. She already had the pumpkin pot from last year. She found the plant and after the discount it was $5.29. “They told me I had a five dollar credit and asked me if I wanted to use it. I did, and that brought it to twenty nine cents!” I love her for many reasons, but moments like this just send me. She loves a good deal. And I love listening to her tales of conquest. Our salvation is a steal. Father in heaven, thank You for making our salvation free, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
