Ephesians 4:32 – “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” |
As believers, we are called to reflect His love through the ways we interact with others. An impactful way of doing so is through a kind and compassionate approach to all, whether in our workplaces, community or even within our families. This involves continually displaying His love through kindness, even towards those we encounter responding with provocative words or actions.
Today’s text suggests showing kindness also encompasses offering forgiveness to each other. Reflecting His love through extending kindness has an amazing impact. It may be helpful to those struggling through a difficult time. Or, provides the opportunity to tell someone needing to hear of the great love He desires to lavish upon all through the saving grace of His Son.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the kindness and love you extended to us through sending us a Savior. Help us in all situations reflect your love through showing kindness and compassion. In the Strong Name of Jesus. Amen
