| Proverb 27:17 – “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.’ |
How do we sharpen one another? It’s not always as easy as it sounds. Iron rubbing iron can send sparks flying! It’s all in the process of refining the tool for peak performance!
For us, accepting the heat thru honest talk is a way of being refined. Let’s face it, none of us want to be rough around the edges. We need to be open to constructive feedback that challenges and encourages us to be our best selves. We become dull and ineffective if our minds are never sharpened through uncomfortable conversations.
Friends, handle friction with care. Speak truth with love, ask hard questions, challenge weak thinking, offer wise counsel, and encourage each other to grow. Always be open to our refinement for peak performance!
“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”
