This month I spent a lot of time preparing for different parties, and I asked the Lord for help with all kinds of things…including asking for Amazon deliveries to come in earlier than promised! For example, I ordered ornaments for a party on Saturday night, but after I ordered them, Amazon said they would not be delivered until the following Sunday!
As I was getting ready for the party Saturday, I was thinking how nothing is impossible with God! I asked Him, “Lord, would you please have the ornaments delivered early so I will have them for everyone tonight? I know that in the grand scheme of things, this is certainly no big deal, and …if You choose not to have them delivered early, I trust Your reasoning behind it, and of course, I love You anyway! I know that nothing is too hard for you, and if it doesn’t mess up any of Your plans, would You be so kind to send those heart ornaments early so I can take them to the party tonight?
After talking to the Lord about it, I got up to leave about 15 minutes later and saw a box outside my front door! It was the ornaments that I just prayed about. Obviously, God knew I would be asking Him for those! I feel God’s presence continually as I totally rely on Him. He is amazingly faithful to help His children! Seek Him for everything and allow Him to ‘WOW’ you with His kindness! God is good all the time!
Dear God, you are always faithful even in the smallest details of our lives! Lord, may we find ourselves recounting your kindness towards us in all things today! Amen
