| Isaiah 55:11 – “GOD DECLARES; SO SHALL MY WORD BE THAT GOES FORTH FROM MY MOUTH; IT SHALL NOT RETURN TO ME EMPTY, BUT IT SHALL ACCOMPLISH WHAT I PLEASE, AND IT SHALL PROSPER IN THE THING FOR WHICH I SENT IT.” |
I give Scriptural Words of Encouragement and Wisdom to people who cross my path at work. Some people cry when they read what they selected, some tell me it is just what they needed, some look amazed and say they were just praying about this and know it is an answer from God!
People share it with their co-workers. Groups come in and one might be selected, then shared with the group, then the group sometimes one by one or sometimes they all come together making their own selection and walk away sharing with each other. Some managers fill their break room with them.
People have come back five years later pulling the exact one they received out of their pocket, wallet or purse, exclaiming they always keep it with them. One man showed me a picture from his phone of his nightstand with that little sheet of Scripture placed beside it. He said it’s the first thing he sees to think about every morning when he wakes up. Several people told me they have them all over their refrigerator at home.
People who love the Lord take to heart everything He says! God has a plan for us, and He accomplishes it through us! God’s Word tells us what will happen when we are obedient, and it tells us what will happen when we are disobedient. It tells us everything we need to know to prosper us in this life.
God’s Word never returns empty. It always accomplishes what He purposes.
