Our Junk – Romans 12:1

Faith Walk
Tools of the junkyard trade. A large magnet picking up trash in a trashyard.
Romans 12:1 – “Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual worship.”

Our own junk just gets in the way of peace. Our minds run wild about all the things we have to do, problems with money, kids, work to be done, constantly interrupted by email and texts and focusing is almost impossible!

How do we put God first in this world, which constantly screams for our attention? Just start by taking 5 minutes every morning to thank Him! It will grow as you begin to feel peace and direction! Ask Him to guide you.

Here’s a suggestion. Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going–to–work, and walking–around life—and place it before God. Be mindful of what God does for you! Embrace Him! It will change your life!
