Warm sunny days, wildflowers in a kaleidoscope of brilliant colors, and trees adorned with new leaves in striking shades of green can inspire a sense of joy during this time of year. Today’s text describes being in His presence, which is yet another way of experiencing joy.
Seeking His presence, whether it is during our quiet time, listening to praise music, or in fellowship with other believers, can bring us a sense of over-whelming joy. For, in His presence, we celebrate how our priorities become clearer, problems become solvable, and His provision is in abundance.
Our joy overflows anticipating the eternal pleasures awaiting us at His right hand. We rejoice at the promise of remaining forever in His sweet presence continually gazing upon His beauty.
Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for the joy of being in your presence and for the anticipation of the eternal pleasures awaiting us at your right hand. When difficulties and challenges overshadow our joy, help us to pause and reflect on You and Your goodness. In the Strong Name of Jesus, Amen.
