We rejoice in the Lord no matter the circumstances that are surrounding us. It is easy to give God praise and thank Him when things are going good for us, but we should also do the same when we are having difficult times in our life. God is our loving heavenly Father, our Friend, our Provider, our Healer and so much more. He is our Strength and Rock!
My testimony this time is a little different. I can rejoice that I have a job that believes that family comes first and allowed me to go to Michigan and be with my dad. My step mom had taken a turn for the worst and my dad called and, said “I need you home now”. I got home a day and a half before she went to her heavenly home. But a week before this she was at her church giving her testimony on how good the Lord is and rejoicing in Him, telling them that she had gone to Niagara Falls and went back to where my dad proposed to her. She was on fire for serving a Great God! She would say “God and I got this”; she trusted in Him with all her heart. That was her testimony to all, “God’s got us”.
Lord thank you for the assurance that we can trust in You, and that we can rejoice because we know You have our back in every situation whether it be pertaining to work, family, friends or even with our finances. Thank You for always being there, we will keep rejoicing and trusting You. Amen
