Running on Empty? – Philippians 4:6-7

Running on Empty?
Holy Bibles and eyeglasses on a table
Philippians 4:6-7 – “do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and in your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Money, Energy, Time, Ideas??

Sometimes each of us just feels used up. We feel like there just isn’t anything left to get us to where we are going – wherever or however that may be! Been there? I know I have!

Often we turn to God and pray after we’ve run on empty about as far as we can! The good news is that Jesus is always available for us! He tells us to “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.”

When we do not even know what or how to pray, God sends His Holy Spirit to help. Romans 8:26 “the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans”.

The way to avoid feeling like we are running on empty is to pay attention to Gods Words to us. He is an ever present help in times of trouble!
