When we pray asking God for guidance, He sees to it that we succeed! Through study and prayer, we gain spiritual health and are strengthened in a way that we can help others. When we are healthy and spiritually strong, others want what we have and it can be used to encourage and strengthen them.
My stepmom has stage four cancer. We have been fervently praying for her! She did two rounds of chemo and then ended up in the hospital for two weeks with sepsis. Prayer did not stop! We continued to praise and thank the Lord for her complete healing.
We carefully watched the words that we spoke over her, because our words matter. God wants us spiritually strong; He says He wants us well and healthy; His Word does not go void. So, we just gave him praise through it all, we didn’t look at what we could not see, we stayed strong on what we know God is able to do. She went for a PET scan last week and the tumor has shrunk, and they could not detect it in her lymph nodes. Praise God, He is good always!
Lord, thank you for guiding us in being spiritually strong, and wanting us in good health. In Jesus Name, Amen
