Often times, life throws a curve ball. There is no warning to duck so that you can miss it or at least try to hit it back. In my journey, those curve balls often come at my most vulnerable moments, especially when I barely had time to recover from a previous battle.
In today’s verse, we are reminded that God is with us in those moments. He is with us even in the storm and the bonus is that He will never leave us. Isn’t that good news?!! He will not always take us out of the battle, but today he is encouraging us that we do not have to fear because he is right there in it with us. We can have confidence and stand strong on his word. His words are solid and serve as his promise that He will not leave us.
God does not lie, so what he says in His Word is true and will strike down any curve ball. Today and every day, let us stand strong on his promise and go forward knowing that He will be right there with us, every step of the way.
Prayer: Dear Lord, I thank you for another day of your grace and mercy. Help me to hear encouraging messages that come from You. I know that I cannot always depend on others around me. They are human and have limitations. But you are all mighty God, you are limitless. Your love will never end. You are all knowing and cannot ever fail or take away your promises. I want to delight in your presence daily. Remove my anxiety and worry. Take this loneliness and fear and replace it with peace and contentment. Thank you, dear Lord, for never leaving or forsaking me. In Jesus name, amen.
