The Big Picture – Philippians 4:6-7

The Big Picture
Big picture frame baroque style.
Philippians 4:6-7 – “Do not be anxious for anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

Neither our hearts nor minds are equipped to handle or understand the big picture of God. God knows the beginning and the end of our journey. Difficulties and good times will strike each of us at different times in our lives.

Our best response to difficulty is to cry out to God in prayer and give it to Him. We should pray for the outcome to be according to His will and rest in His trustworthy answer. In good times and bad we need to express graditude and praise. I did not say this was easy but it is soul cleansing

Lord, forgive me for the times I have focused more on my wants than Your will. I know in my head that Your will is perfect; please help me believe with my heart and soul and give you honor and praise. In Jesus’ Name. Amen
