Sometimes we build our ladders on walls that society places value on and we think we must follow. We either sit at the top, unhappy, or we begrudgingly make our way back down the ladder so we can start anew.

Healing sometimes feels like you're going backwards in life. With every mountain is a valley, with progress there are also setbacks. We have to give ourselves grace when we find ourselves moving backwards or when we're further back than we want to be. It's in our challenges and our struggles that we grow.
