Have you ever had one of those days, weeks or even months where it felt like everything seems to be a cycle of trouble and bad news? Everywhere you turn, you cannot catch a break. Work issues, family drama and financial woes coming to you all at once. Scripture teaches that God is with us, no matter what “day of trouble” or storm we may be facing. He is our umbrella of protection that provides a covering where we can be safe. Hold out your shield of faith and let the Lord fight your battles. He wins every time!
Prayer: Dear heavenly Father, thank you for this teaching today. We have assurance that you are there for us no matter what is coming against us. You hide us and cover us and for that, we thank you. Please continue to fight for us. Help us to let go of the control and give us peace in knowing that you have it all handled. In Jesus name, Amen.
