1 Corinthians 12:12 – “Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.”
Within the body of Christ, each individual matters and is important. The sum of all parts moving in tandem garner the most success. Roles, skill sets, experience, and distance may separate those within a group.
The LORD imparts specific talents and abilities into each person for the accomplishing of tasks vital to the group. Every task, whether performed as a preacher in a prominent public facing area to one sending get well cards from a quiet corner of an off-stage work space, is integral for accomplishing the group’s mission. Acknowledging each individual’s contribution to the group helps us embrace that we are in this together.
Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for each team member in both the Body of Christ and within our work setting. Help us always recognize and express gratitude for what each team member contributes within our groups. In the Strong Name of Jesus, Amen.
