When we confess our sins, whether private or public, intentional or unintentional, we put aside pride and replace it with humility and a willingness toward self-examination, and with the desire to be cleansed and forgiven by God. Confessing to and praying for one another strengthens our resolve to live righteously before God and to demonstrate our gratitude for the price Jesus paid.
