In a despairing Psalm, intimated by worldly influences of physical and emotional harm, King David concluded with transformative words, dripping with confidence and hope. As one who personally experienced the poisonous venom of accusers and back biting tongues, as David declared, "In the shelter of Your presence...in Your dwelling You keep them safe from accusing tongues". What joy to be categorized among the faithful who fear the Lord! May we become and remain among 'them', placing our unwavering trust in the Lord. For by doing so, we freely receive bountiful, eternal, spiritual and uncompromisable defense, both now and forevermore.
