The Hebrew writer defines Faith as the "assurance (or substance) of things hoped for, and the conviction (or evidence) of things not seen." Furthermore he says "without such faith it is impossible to please God." Isaiah says the arms of the Lord are not too short that He cannot save. What an extraordinary thought to know God will look upon me with favor if I just believe in God (whom we have not seen) with a conviction that He can save even me!
